Telerik, the leading vendor of development tools and user interface components for Microsoft’s .NET platform, today announced that its Ultimate Collection for .NET was named as a Winner in the Best of TechEd 2010 awards program in the Components and Middleware category by Penton Media’s Windows IT Pro and SQL Server Magazine.
"The Telerik Ultimate Collection provides a complete set of Windows Forms, ASP.NET, and Silverlight controls. This product won because in addition to its controls, it provides support for the Open Access data access framework, as well as Web Test Studio for testing web applications," noted the judging panel.
The Best of TechEd 2010 awards recognize companies who offer innovative products for the industry. The judges reviewed 298 products and services submitted for the contest and chose 46 finalists to be interviewed at the Microsoft Tech•Ed North America 2010 IT pro conference in New Orleans, Louisiana on June 9, 2010. Winners were announced at an invite only evening reception at the Hard Rock Café on June 9th and are available on-line at http://www.windowsitpro.com and http://northamerica.msteched.com.

In addition, two other Telerik solutions were recognized as finalists in the Best of TechEd 2010. Telerik Reporting was selected in the Business Intelligence category and Telerik OpenAccess ORM was selected in the Database Development category.
